Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
CUMMING, Ga. (Sept. 24, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Cumming community on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Kristie Bergstrom as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Bethelview & Castleberry, marking her second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate, Bergstrom and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 5580 Wren St., Chick-fil-A Bethelview & Castleberry will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, mobile pick-up, third-party delivery and Mobile Thru.

“Growing up in Georgia, Chick-fil-A has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember,” said Bergstrom. “After seven years serving as an Operator in Southern California, returning home to Georgia in 2024 was incredibly meaningful. I’m grateful to be opening my second restaurant here in Georgia and continuing Chick-fil-A’s legacy of signature hospitality in the place where it all began.”
A Marietta native, Bergstrom grew up visiting Chick-fil-A for after-school treats and long felt a close connection to the brand. In 2017, she had the opportunity to become a local Owner-Operator in California, where she later opened a second restaurant in 2020. In 2024, she returned home to Georgia to become the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Larry Mulkey at Memorial Road. Now, as she opens this second Georgia restaurant, Bergstrom looks forward to creating opportunities for connection, delivering exceptional service and helping Guests make fond memories of their own.

Bergstrom is committed to giving back to the Cumming community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 50 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 110 jobs.
