From Team Member to Local Owner-Operator, Mitchell Daniel to Lead New Restaurant
BILOXI, Miss. (Sept. 24, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Biloxi community at its newest location on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., creating approximately 120 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Mitchell Daniel to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Biloxi.
Located at 2356 Pass Road, Chick-fil-A Biloxi will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the restaurant and 10 p.m. in the drive-thru, offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru.

“Owning a business has always been a dream of mine, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring that dream to life in Biloxi,” said Daniel. “I’m excited to work alongside my Team Members each day to create a welcoming restaurant where people feel cared for and connected. Biloxi is a strong, close-knit community, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our guests and finding ways for our restaurant to make a positive impact for years to come.”
Daniel began his Chick-fil-A journey in 2019 as a Team Member at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Georgia. During his time at the restaurant, he saw how business ownership could align with his passion for serving others and making a positive impact on the community. He later joined the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program, where he gained hands-on experience leading teams and learned more about creating a supportive environment where Team Members can thrive and Guests feel cared for. Now, as he opens Chick-fil-A Biloxi, Daniel looks forward to serving the community and creating a restaurant where the spirit of care is felt by every Team Member and Guest.
Caring for the Biloxi Community
Daniel is committed to giving back to the Biloxi community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Feeding the Gulf Coast, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 50 million meals nationwide to date.

To celebrate the opening, Daniel and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun.
