Restaurant celebrates with Cows Eat Free offer on opening day
NEW ALBANY, Ind. (Feb. 12, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the New Albany community at its newest location on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., creating approximately 90 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Zack Flanagan to be the local Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Charlestown Road.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Flanagan and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 3100 St Joseph Road, Chick-fil-A Charlestown Road will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery and mobile pick-up.

I’m excited to come to work every day to support and develop my Team Members while giving back to the hometown that has given me so much.”
A New Albany native, Flanagan’s Chick-fil-A journey began in 2003 when his father became a local Owner/Operator. Inspired by the business and its impact, Flanagan joined Chick-fil-A as a Team Member in 2009, working throughout high school and college. Through firsthand experience, he saw how Chick-fil-A restaurants can positively influence both Team Members and the surrounding community — solidifying his desire to one day open his own restaurant.
Following his father’s guidance to gain experience beyond the restaurant before pursuing ownership, Flanagan launched Board and You, a restaurant and hospitality business in New Albany. Today, his sister, Megan Flanagan, has assumed ownership of the business, allowing Flanagan to return to Chick-fil-A to fulfill his long-held goal of opening a restaurant with the brand he deems his “dream company.”
Caring for the New Albany Community
Flanagan is committed to giving back to the New Albany community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Louisville area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
