Restaurant adds more than 100 jobs to local economy
TURLOCK, Calif. (July 30, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Turlock community at its first location on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., creating approximately 100 full- and part-time jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Christine Murphy to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Countryside & Tuolumne.
Located at 2630 W. Tuolumne Road, Chick-fil-A Countryside & Tuolumne will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant will offer dine-in, drive-thru,
carry-out, third-party delivery and Mobile Thru.
To celebrate the opening, Murphy and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a special Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.

Murphy is committed to caring for the Turlock community by:
- Creating approximately 120 full- and part-time jobs. Chick-fil-A local Owners-Operators hire and grow top talent through hands-on training and mentoring, competitive pay and benefits, the chance to apply for scholarships to support continued education, and the flexibility to thrive in and outside of work – all within a purpose-driven, flexible environment.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts in the greater Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto area.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 42 million meals to date with over 2,500 restaurantsparticipating.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model drives meaningful economic growth at the local level. Each restaurant is owned and operated by a single individual — a small business owner who lives in the community, creates jobs, mentors talent and reinvests directly into the local economy. Murphy will work in her restaurant side by side with Team Members each day.

Murphy began her Chick-fil-A journey in 2021 at a restaurant in nearby Manteca after being inspired by the brand’s commitment to care, excellence, integrity and its investment in people. As she learned from local Owner-Operators, she discovered a passion for developing leaders and running a business that positively impacts its community. Now, as the first local Owner-Operator to bring Chick-fil-A to Stanislaus County, Murphy looks forward to investing in her Team Members, partnering with local schools and organizations, and creating a welcoming restaurant where every Guest is treated with genuine care and respect.
