Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
EDMOND, Okla. (Oct. 22, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Edmond community on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Greg Harjo as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Covell & Sooner, marking his third restaurant in the community.
To celebrate, Harjo and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 4200 E Covell Road, Chick-fil-A Covell & Sooner will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

Harjo’s Chick-fil-A journey began in 1999 at the Chick-fil-A Support Center in Atlanta, where he developed an appreciation for the company’s commitment to people, service and leadership. Inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on others, Harjo pursued the path to becoming a local Owner-Operator in 2005.
An Oklahoma native who grew up just outside of Edmond, Harjo has served the Edmond community as a local Owner-Operator since 2010. Now opening his third Chick-fil-A restaurant, he looks forward to expanding his impact in North Edmond by developing Team Members, cultivating future leaders and creating opportunities for others to reach their full potential.

Harjo is committed to giving back to the Edmond community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 50 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 70 jobs.
