Restaurant to host a Moove-In Party to celebrate with community
CONCORD, N.C. (April 23, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Concord community at its newest location on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 6:00 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Matt Rice as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Dale Earnhardt Blvd.
To celebrate, Matt and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 1015 Vinehaven Drive NE, Chick-fil-A Dale Earnhardt Blvd will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the dining room and until 10:00 p.m. in the drive thru. The restaurant will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru.

Matt Rice began his Chick-fil-A journey as a Team Member in Durham, where he earned multiple scholarships and awards for his leadership and dedication. Now, as a local Owner-Operator, he is passionate about creating the same positive, growth-focused environment that once inspired him, especially as he returns home to Concord to open his newest restaurant.
“The Concord community means so much to me because it’s filled with people who genuinely support and care for one another,” Matt said. “It’s an honor to return home to serve the place that helped shape who I am. I’m grateful for the opportunity to create a space where every Guest feels valued and cared for.”

Rice is committed to giving back to the Concord community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, a Feeding America partner food bank.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 70 jobs.
