Restaurant celebrates with Cows Eat Free offer on opening day
ELK GROVE, Calif. (Feb. 13, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Elk Grove community at its newest location on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Kyle Atwater as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Elk Grove Blvd & Wymark.
To celebrate the opening, Atwater and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 8140 Elk Grove Blvd., Chick-fil-A Elk Grove Blvd & Wymark will serve Guests Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

Atwater began his career with Chick-fil-A at a restaurant in Texas. There, he discovered a passion for local ownership—an opportunity that perfectly blends entrepreneurship with meaningful impact. After being selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Elk Grove Marketplace in 2023, Atwater and his family were warmly welcomed and quickly felt at home, building strong connections within the Elk Grove community. Now, he is grateful and excited to serve the Elk Grove area at a new location where he can welcome more Team Members and host community events.

Atwater is committed to giving back to the Elk Grove community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America, in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Sacramento area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 30 full- and part-time jobs.
