Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
FRANKLIN, Ind. (March 12, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Franklin community at its first location on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Megan Puello to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Franklin.
To celebrate the opening, Puello and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 2430 N Morton St., Chick-fil-A Franklin will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A Franklin will also feature a playground to serve Guests with children.

“Opening Chick-fil-A Franklin feels like a true full-circle moment for me,” said Puello. “Some of my earliest memories are behind the counter at my dad’s restaurant, watching the team serve Guests and care deeply for the community. Those experiences shaped my love for hospitality and the joy that comes from bringing people together through delicious food and fellowship. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Franklin community, and I can’t wait to kick things off with our Moove-In Party as we welcome our new neighbors through our doors.”
Puello’s journey with Chick-fil-A began as a child when her father became a local
Owner-Operator. Growing up in her father’s restaurant in nearby Greenwood, she worked alongside her parents and brother and experienced firsthand the impact a restaurant can have in its community. After nearly a decade of serving in leadership roles at her father’s restaurants, Puello is proud to open her own restaurant in Franklin and continue her family’s legacy of care and hospitality.

Puello is committed to giving back to the Franklin community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 120 jobs.
