Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
GAYLORD, Mich. (Sept. 24, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Gaylord community on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Tyler Lowe as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Gaylord.
To celebrate, Lowe and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots
can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 1354 W. Main St., Chick-fil-A Gaylord will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party
delivery, and catering. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A Gaylord will also feature a play space for Guests with children.

“From the first time my family and I visited Gaylord, we felt the genuine sense of community that makes this area so special,” said Lowe. “Having grown up in a small town myself, I knew this was the kind of place where we could put down roots. I’m honored to now call Gaylord home and excited to get to know our neighbors, welcome them into the restaurant and become part of what makes this community special.”
Lowe began his Chick-fil-A journey at age 17 as a Team Member in South Carolina. His experience sparked a passion for the restaurant industry and serving others, ultimately leading him to pursue the opportunity to become a local Owner-Operator. Now, Lowe and his family have put down roots in Gaylord to open the community’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant.
Caring for the Gaylord Community
Lowe is committed to giving back to the Gaylord community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 50 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 120 jobs.
