Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
GRETNA, La. (June 4, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Gretna community at its newest location on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc.
has selected Sarah Triplett as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Gretna, marking her second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate, Triplett and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal in the drive-thru or at the walk-up window.
Located at 83 Westbank Expressway, Chick-fil-A Gretna will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery and
Mobile Thru. Designed for speed and efficiency, this drive thru-focused location offers added convenience to serve Guests through its drive-thru and a walk-up window for carry-out. Chick-fil-A Gretna is bringing Chick-fil-A‘s drive-thru focused restaurant design to the New Orleans area.
Locally Owned and Operated
“As a local Owner-Operator, I have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact on the people around me,” said Triplett. “Teaching shaped the way I see people — I believe everyone has potential worth investing in. That same belief is what drives me as a local Owner-Operator, and it’s why I’m so excited to expand our impact with this new location. I want Chick-fil-A Gretna to be a place where care is felt by everyone who visits.”
Triplett’s path to Chick-fil-A began in the classroom, where she spent over a decade as a teacher investing in the next generation of future leaders. After joining Chick-fil-A in 2017, it didn’t take long for her to see the profound impact an Operator can have, not just on a business, but on the lives of the people within it and the community it serves. That realization sparked her desire to become a local Owner-Operator.
Triplett was selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Algiers in 2023, where she
became known for her commitment to investing the communities she serves. Through local partnerships with organizations that support a myriad of causes such as education and economic development, she has been able to show care for Guests beyond their time in the restaurant.
Today, Triplett looks forward to bringing her people-first leadership and community-centric philosophy to Chick-fil-A Gretna, which she will operate, alongside her first location.
