Locally Owned and Operated
“As a Southern California native, I spent many summers and holidays visiting my extended family in the desert, so this community has been a part of my life since childhood,” said Ramos. “I want this restaurant to be a space where Guests can gather for great food and
genuine connection, and where Team Members can grow into the best version of themselves, no matter where life takes them.”
More About Jacob
- Ramos began his Chick-fil-A journey while attending Sonoma State University, where an early introduction to the brand quickly turned into a passion for hospitality, leadership and empowering others with opportunities to succeed.
- After participating in the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program and gaining hands-on operational experience at restaurants nationwide, Ramos is eager to make an impact in the Coachella Valley, giving back to a community that he’s long felt connected to through time spent with family in the area.
Opening Day Moove-In Party at Chick-fil-A I-10 & Jackson Street
To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, Ramos and his team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for a free entrée.
- Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Indio’s turn to join the herd.
- Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée or kid’s meal* in person inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Caring for the Indio Community
Ramos is committed to giving back to the Indio community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of FIND Food Bank, a partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
