Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
PLAINFIELD, Ind. (Sept. 24, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Plainfield community on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Chris Spires as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A I-70 & SR 267, marking his second restaurant in the community.
To celebrate, Spires and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots
can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 6102 Cambridge Way, Chick-fil-A I-70 & SR 267 will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pickup and Mobile Thru. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A I-70 & SR 267 will also feature a playground for Guests with children.

goals and go on to make an impact of their own. We’re excited for the opportunity to expand that impact with a second restaurant, serve even more Guests and celebrate together at our Moove-In Party on opening day.”
Spires first became a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator in 2005 and currently operates Chick-fil-A Plainfield Commons, which he will continue to lead alongside Chick-fil-A I-70 & SR 267. At the new restaurant, Spires and his team look forward to continuing to make a positive impact by caring for Guests, investing in Team Members and serving the Plainfield community they’re proud to call home.

Spires is committed to giving back to the Plainfield community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits.
- Creating approximately 80 jobs.
