Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
GRANITE QUARRY, N.C. (April 16, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the town of Granite Quarry at its newest location on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6:00 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Allie Stephenson as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A I-85 & Julian.
To celebrate, Stephenson and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 260 Tingle Drive, Chick-fil-A I-85 & Julian will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. inside the restaurant, and until 10:00 p.m. in the drive-thru. The restaurant will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, mobile pick-up and third-party delivery. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A I-85 & Julian will also feature a playground to serve Guests with children.

“As someone whose Chick-fil-A journey started right here in this community, opening this restaurant feels especially meaningful,” said Stephenson. “I’m excited to create a place where friends and families can come together for great food, spend time on the playground and just enjoy being together. Our team is looking forward to serving our neighbors, creating meaningful jobs and making a positive impact in Granite Quarry.”
Stephenson began her Chick-fil-A career at just 15 years old as a Team Member in Wesley Chapel, North Carolina. Most recently, she served as the local Owner-Operator of a
Chick-fil-A restaurant Delaware, where she invested deeply in her Team Members through scholarship opportunities and personal finance education. Now returning to her North Carolina roots, Stephenson looks forward to hiring approximately 100 Team Members and continuing her passion for developing future leaders.

Stephenson is committed to giving back to the Granite Quarry community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, a Feeding America partner food bank.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 100 jobs.
