Restaurant adds more than 110 jobs to local economy
LEOMINSTER, Mass. (Oct. 1, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Leominster community on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026 at 6:30 a.m., creating approximately 100 full- and part-time jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Mary Herndon to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Leominster.
Located at 905 Merriam Ave., Chick-fil-A Leominster will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, mobile pick-up, third-party
delivery, catering pick-up and Mobile Thru.
To celebrate the opening, Herndon and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model drives meaningful economic growth at the local level. Each restaurant is owned and operated by a single individual — a small business owner who lives in the community, creates jobs, mentors talent and reinvests directly into the local economy. Herndon will work in her restaurant side by side with Team Members each day.

Herndon began her Chick-fil-A journey as a teenager and steadily took on leadership roles before spending several years supporting new restaurant openings across the country, including in the Boston area. After more than a decade with Chick-fil-A, she was selected to be a local
Owner-Operator in 2026 and looks forward to bringing her experience developing teams and serving others to Leominster.

- Creating approximately 100 full- and part-time jobs. - Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 50 million meals to date with over 2,700 restaurants
participating. Chick-fil-A Leominster is honored to partner with Ginny’s Helping Hand to help feed people in need in Leominster.
