Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (April 16, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Ocean Springs community at its first location on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Craig Smith as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Ocean Springs.
To celebrate, Smith and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots
can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 3425 Bienville Blvd., Chick-fil-A Ocean Springs will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, mobile pick-up, third-party delivery and Mobile Thru. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A Ocean Springs will also feature an indoor play area, providing parents visibility so they can relax while children play.

Smith brings years of industry experience rooted in a commitment to care and excellence to the Ocean Springs community. After learning more about Chick-fil-A’s mission, Smith set his sights on becoming a local Owner-Operator, inspired by the opportunity to meaningfully serve and invest in the community. Having spent many years in and around Ocean Springs throughout different points in his career, Smith is very familiar with the community. He looks forward to officially calling it home and creating a welcoming environment for his new neighbors and Guests.

Smith is committed to giving back to the Ocean Springs community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Feeding the Gulf Coast, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 115 jobs.
