Restaurant celebrates with Moove-In Party on opening day
OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (Oct. 29, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Osage Beach community on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Jim Hernandez as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Osage Beach.
To celebrate, Hernandez and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 3923 Osage Beach Parkway, Chick-fil-A Osage Beach will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, Mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru.

“The Lake of the Ozarks has been a special place for my family for years, and it means so much to have the opportunity to open the first Chick-fil-A in Osage Beach,” said Hernandez. “We’re excited to welcome the community, get to know our neighbors and create a restaurant where Guests feel cared for and Team Members have opportunities to grow. Hernandez’s journey to Chick-fil-A began in 2020, when he decided to make a career change and began volunteering at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant. Drawn to the brand’s commitment to caring for people and developing leaders, he joined the team and gained experience in all aspects of restaurant operations.
Inspired by the local Owner-Operators he worked alongside and the meaningful relationships they built with their Team Members and communities, Hernandez pursued the opportunity to become a local Owner-Operator himself. Now, he looks forward to creating a welcoming environment for Guests, investing in the growth of his Team Members and building lasting relationships throughout the Osage Beach community.

Hernandez is committed to giving back to the Osage Beach community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 50 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 70 jobs.
