Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
SUFFOLK, Va. (March 12, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Planters Station community at its newest location on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 6:00 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Nicole Digby-Dalton as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Planters Station, her second location in the Suffolk community.
To celebrate, Digby-Dalton and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or drive-thru.
Located at 3169 Godwin Blvd., Chick-fil-A Planters Station will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, mobile pick-up, third party delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

“I’ve had the privilege of serving the Suffolk community for more than two decades, and it’s an honor to keep growing here,” said Digby-Dalton. “This new restaurant gives us more opportunities to serve great food, invest in our Team Members and create a welcoming place where people can come together.”
Digby-Dalton began her Chick-fil-A journey as a Team Member while in high school and remained closely connected to the brand throughout college as a Chick-fil-A scholarship recipient. After graduating, she was encouraged by her local Owner-Operator to pursue the path to restaurant ownership, and in 2003, she opened her first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Suffolk at the Main Street location. Today, she continues to invest in developing future leaders and supporting local organizations throughout the community.
Caring for the Planters Station Community
Digby-Dalton is committed to giving back to the Planters Station community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Supporting Team Members through education, having awarded more than $132,500 in scholarships through the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures™ program to date, as well as offering tuition discounts and tuition reimbursement opportunities to help Team Members pursue their academic goals.
- Creating approximately 150 jobs.
