Led by local Owner-Operator and Texas native, Veronica Vasquez
PLEASANTON, Texas (July 16, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Pleasanton community at its first location on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Veronica Vasquez to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Pleasanton.
To celebrate, Vasquez and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or drive-thru.
Located at 620 W Oaklawn Road, Chick-fil-A Pleasanton will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with drive-thru service available until 10:00 p.m. The restaurant will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering, third-party delivery and Mobile Thru.

“As someone who grew up in San Antonio, I’m excited to put down roots in Pleasanton and serve this community,” said Vasquez. “Owning my own business has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to invest in the people and families who make Pleasanton such a special place. As the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Pleasanton, I’m committed to creating a welcoming environment where Guests feel cared for and Team Members have opportunities to grow—just as I experienced when I started my own journey with Chick-fil-A.”
Vasquez’s Chick-fil-A journey began in 2006 as a Team Member in San Antonio while she was in high school. What started as a part-time job quickly became an opportunity for leadership development, and inspired by the supportive environment and opportunities she experienced as a Team Member, Vasquez set a goal of one day becoming a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator. As she prepares to open Pleasanton’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant, Vasquez is eager to bring a welcoming dining experience to the community and build a team committed to making a positive impact on Guests and neighbors alike.
Caring for the Pleasanton Community
Vazquez is committed to giving back to the Pleasanton community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of San Antonio Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
