Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
CLEVELAND, Ohio (Aug. 20, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the downtown Cleveland community at its first locally owned and operated location on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Steven Turner as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Uptown.
To celebrate, Turner and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant.
Located at 11435 Euclid Ave., Chick-fil-A Uptown will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, carry-out, third-party delivery and curbside pickup. Guest parking is available at the rear of the building.

“Opening the first locally owned and operated Chick-fil-A restaurant within the Cleveland city limits is an incredible honor,” said Turner. “University Circle is a cultural hub of the city and home to healthcare professionals, educators and students who make a difference every day. We look forward to celebrating with this remarkable community at our Moove-In Party and welcoming Guests through our doors for the first time on opening day.”
While working in the sports and fitness industry, Turner discovered a passion for leading people and serving others. In 2020, he joined Chick-fil-A as a Team Member, quickly advancing through leadership roles and serving in the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program, where he traveled across the country to support restaurant openings and gain hands-on experience developing teams and leading restaurant operations.
Now, Turner looks forward to bringing his experience and passion for serving others to Chick-fil-A Uptown and University Circle. Through his wife Mary-Megan’s work in healthcare, Turner has a personal appreciation for those who dedicate their careers to caring for others, and he looks forward to serving and supporting the people who make University Circle such an important part of the Cleveland community.

Turner is committed to giving back to the Cleveland community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Greater Cleveland Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 115 jobs.
