Restaurant celebrates with Cows Eat Free offer on opening day
BUDA, Texas (Oct. 31, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Buda community at its newest location on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Reece Howard to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A West Buda, marking his second location in the community.
To celebrate the opening, Howard and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 310 S FM 1626, Chick-fil-A West Buda will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering and Mobile Thru.

While originally from the Houston area, Howard has spent most of life in Austin, where he served as a Chick-fil-A Team Member before he was selected to operate a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Austin. In this role, he spent three years honing his leadership and operational skills.
In 2019, Howard was chosen to open Buda’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant, Chick-fil-A Buda, where he and his wife, Jordan, have spent the past six years building lasting relationships with Guests and Team Members alike. Now, with the opportunity to open his second restaurant, Howard looks forward to deepening his investment in the community and continuing to serve with excellence and care.
Caring for the Buda Community
Howard is committed to giving back to the Buda community by: Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Central Texas Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant. Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.Creating approximately 100 jobs in the Buda community.
