Restaurant hosts Moove-In Party to celebrate opening with community
STAFFORD, Va. (May 14, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Stafford community on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Mike Lindblom as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville.
To celebrate, Lindblom and team are inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 930 Garrisonville Road, the restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville will also feature an indoor play area, providing parents visibility so they can relax while children play.
Locally Owned and Operated
“Opening Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville feels like a true homecoming for me,” said Lindblom. “This is a hardworking, family-centered community, and it means so much to serve the people who make it special. My wife and I look forward to creating a place where our team feels like family and every Guest is welcomed with genuine care.”
Lindblom grew up in a military family and is a retired Marine. After serving in the Marine Corps and spending time in corporate America, Lindblom was drawn to Chick-fil-A’s purpose-driven mission and commitment to investing in people. He took a hands-on approach to learning the business, by working alongside other Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators to build a strong foundation. Today, he looks forward to serving the Garrisonville community, where his Marine Corps career began and ended.
Caring for the Stafford Community
Lindblom is committed to giving back to the Stafford community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
