Led by local Owner-Operator, Josh Faretta
CHICAGO (Mar. 02, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Chicago community at its newest location on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., creating approximately 60 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Josh Faretta, to be the local
Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Wicker Park, marking his second restaurant in the community.
Located at 1244 N Ashland Ave., Chick-fil-A Wicker Park will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. offering dine-in, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Chick-fil-A® Delivery.
Locally Owned and Operated
“Wicker Park holds such a special place in our hearts,” said Faretta. “Over the past four years, my wife and I have had the privilege of getting to know this community and seeing firsthand how a positive experience can impact people, through a delicious meal, meaningful opportunities for Team Members and genuine hospitality. Opening a second restaurant allows us to expand that impact by developing more leaders, creating more jobs and serving our neighbors with care every day.”
An Illinois native raised in Blue Island, Faretta began his Chick-fil-A journey in 2013 as a Team Member before becoming the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Bucktown in 2021. He will continue operating that restaurant alongside the new Wicker Park location. He and his wife are excited to deepen their investment in the neighborhood by building a restaurant that is committed to investing in the people and relationships that make Wicker Park special.
Caring for the Wicker Park Community
Faretta is committed to giving back to the Wicker Park community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts of Greater Chicago Food Depository, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
