Apply for a True Inspiration Awards Grant

True Inspiration Awards grants range from $30,000 to $350,000, with over $6 million awarded in 2026 to organizations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, Canada, the United Kingdom and Singapore.

Applications for the 2027 True Inspiration Awards will be accepted from now until May 1, 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for a True Inspiration Awards grant, an organization should:

  • Be a (i) 501(c)(3) based in the U.S. or (ii) a charitable organization based in Canada, United Kingdom or Singapore that can provide an opinion of counsel that confirms it is the equivalent of a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity in its home jurisdiction.

S. Truett Cathy Honoree

One organization will be selected as the S. Truett Cathy Honoree. The S. Truett Cathy Honoree embodies the generous, innovative spirit of Chick-fil-A’s late founder — pioneering new ways to solve problems and serve others.

Category winners

In 2026, we will continue to support nonprofits with a total commitment of $6 million in grants ranging from $30,000-$350,000.

Sixteen organizations will be awarded for their work in these areas.

Caring for People
(four winners)

Programs or projects supporting educational initiatives, including fostering character and leadership development, academic excellence and community involvement in underserved youth.

Caring through Food
(four winners)

Programs or projects focused on addressing hunger and food insecurity facing children and their families.

Caring for Communities
(four winners)

Programs or projects focused on providing housing and other direct services to support young people and their families.  

Caring for our Planet
(four winners)

Programs or projects that show care for our environment and our planet, or that demonstrate environmental stewardship through initiatives directly related to our other True Inspiration Awards categories of food, community and people (i.e., community beautification, education opportunities, community gardens, outdoor classrooms, etc.) 

Regional winners

These organizations must be nominated by a Chick-fil-A Operator, and Chick-fil-A One® Customers will have the opportunity to vote on finalists.

“By providing three meals a day to anyone in need, 365 days a year, Faith Kitchen is changing lives in profound ways. This generous grant from Chick-fil-A will help Faith Kitchen continue making a lasting difference for individuals experiencing homelessness in San Antonio.”
