Restaurant Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year

DALTON, Ga. (December 7, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant will begin serving the Dalton community on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Isaac Holbert as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A North Dalton.  

Located at 1275 N Glenwood Ave., Chick-fil-A North Dalton will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6 a.m.  to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A North Dalton can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A^® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One^® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. In Dalton, Holbert will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.  

Hailing from Calhoun, Ga., Holbert’s first job was at his local Chick-fil-A Calhoun restaurant where he later met his wife, Hannah, as fellow Team Members. With a passion for service, Holbert held various management roles at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country, tallying over a decade of experience before serving as an Operator for three years in Sioux City, Iowa. In 2015, Holbert returned home to North Georgia, where he was the Operator for three years at Chick-fil-A Walnut Square Mall, now known as the Dalton Mall. In 2018, Holbert was selected to become the Operator of Chick-fil-A Dalton, where he has worked alongside several family members, including his wife, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. In November 2022, Chick-fil-A Dalton temporarily closed for remodeling and is slated to reopen in 2023.  

With the opening of Chick-fil-A North Dalton, Holbert looks forward to continuing to grow the Chick-fil-A brand with new and existing guests in Dalton. Over 100 Team Members from Chick-fil-A Dalton will be temporarily relocating during the remodel to serve guests at Chick-fil-A North Dalton, and the new restaurant has created approximately 45 additional full- and part-time jobs.

Caring for the Dalton Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Dalton area to aid in the fight against hunger.  

In addition, Chick-fil-A North Dalton is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Dalton area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.  

Holbert’s restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table^™ Program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. The restaurant will partner with Dalton Greater Works to provide food for individuals experiencing homelessness.
