Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year
CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. (Feb. 24, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Charlotte Hall community on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Matt Ogle as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Charlotte Hall.
Located at 29920 Three Notch Road, Chick-fil-A Charlotte Hall will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The restaurant’s dual-lane drive-thru will remain open until 10 p.m.
The Charlotte Hall restaurant joins more than 100 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider DMV metro area.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model is essential to how the restaurant serves others. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means Chick-fil-A’s local
Owner-Operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side by side with their Team Members each day.
In Charlotte Hall, Ogle will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving Guests, cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses, and tailoring philanthropic efforts to meet the Charlotte Hall community’s needs.
Chick-fil-A is Ogle’s first and only employer, reflecting his lifelong passion for leadership, hospitality and community-building. Upon graduating from college in 2018, Ogle started his career as a Team Member in Chick-fil-A restaurants in Washington, D.C. and Bethesda, where he worked his way up to director and general manager roles. Ogle later joined the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program, where he gained valuable experience supporting Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators across the country.
Chick-fil-A also holds a special place in Ogle’s personal life. He met his wife, Andrea, in Bethesda through his work at Chick-fil-A, and the DMV is a big part of their love story. Now, the couple looks forward to planting roots in the Charlotte Hall community and growing Chick-fil-A's positive influence within the southern Maryland area.
“My wife and I see Chick-fil-A Charlotte Hall as an extension of our own home,” Ogle said. “We aim to be the community’s most caring restaurant and to be a place that cares deeply for every Guest we serve and every Team Member we develop. We hope to grow our community by creating memorable moments through our food, our team and our signature hospitality.”
Caring for the Charlotte Hall Community
The Chick-fil-A business is built to add positive impact beyond profit, including giving back to local communities. Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators are empowered to support the neighborhoods they serve with a key focus on hunger, education and specific community needs.
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater southern Maryland area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Ogle’s restaurant will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 35 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from over 2,300 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Charlotte Hall is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Charlotte Hall area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
