DARTMOUTH, Mass. (Sept. 8, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving Guests in Dartmouth on Friday, September 12 at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Julie Gallagher to serve as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Dartmouth.

Located at 286 State Rd. Chick-fil-A Dartmouth will serve Guests Monday through Saturday 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering and Mobile Thru. To celebrate the opening, Guests are welcome to join the fun by dressing in cow print on opening day to receive a free entrée.

Locally Owned and Operated
“After nearly three years as a local Owner-Operator, I’m thankful for the opportunity to open
Chick-fil-A Dartmouth,” said Gallagher. “Growing up, my high school soccer team used to visit
Chick-fil-A before school on game days. It was something we all looked forward to – a tradition that made us feel like family and I look forward to creating that same sense of togetherness in the Dartmouth community.”

  • A former D 1 soccer athlete, Gallagher studied Exercise and Sports Science before completing a master’s in business and healthcare administration at the University of Utah. She later co-founded a coffee shop, fueling her passion for hospitality and entrepreneurship.
  • Gallagher resides in Mattapoisett with her two daughters where she coaches soccer and participates in Half Ironman races.

Cows Eat Free to Celebrate Chick-fil-A Dartmouth
To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, cows will eat free on opening day! Gallagher and her team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for one free entrée.

  • Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Dartmouth’s turn to join the herd.
  • Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée, either inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru*

Caring for the Dartmouth Community
Gallagher is committed to giving back to the Dartmouth community by:

  • Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
  • Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of the Greater Boston Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
