Restaurant Creates Approximately 60 Jobs, Guests Invited to Dress in Cow Print on Opening Day for Free Entrée
FOREST HILLS, N.Y., (Aug. 28, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving Guests in Forest Hills on Thursday, Sept. 4. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Jonathan Dickson to serve as the local
Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Forest Hills.
Located at 106-20 Continental Ave., Chick-fil-A Forest Hills will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, carry-out and third-party delivery. The new restaurant brings approximately 60 jobs to the community.
To celebrate the opening, Guests are welcome to join the fun by dressing in cow print on opening day to receive a free entrée.
Locally Owned and Operated
“You never know how life is going to unfold, but I have found that some of the most meaningful things in my life have come through serving others,” said Dickson. “That perspective continues to shape how I lead, with empathy, kindness and a genuine focus on hospitality. My hope is that Chick-fil-A Forest Hills becomes a place where both Team Members and Guests feel valued, welcomed and supported.”
- Dickson brings a diverse background to his role at Chick-fil-A, having left a pre-med path to pursue a career in entertainment. He worked as an on-air TV host before moving to New York City, where he made appearances on popular streaming services and major primetime television. While working as an actor, he found a meaningful volunteer experience at a New York City soup kitchen that sparked what became a lifelong commitment to service – one that continues today through his role as chairman of the board at that same organization and through his work with Chick-fil-A.
- After training with a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator in Charleston, S.C., he was selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A at the Queens Center Mall. He’s excited to step into his new role at Chick-fil-A Forest Hills alongside his wife, Lacy, who will lead marketing, events and community outreach.
Cows Eat Free to Celebrate Chick-fil-A Forest Hills
To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, cows will eat free on opening day! Dickson and his team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for one free entrée.
- Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Forest Hills’ turn to join the herd.
- Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée* in person inside the restaurant.
Caring for the Forest Hills Community
Dickson is committed to giving back to the Forest Hills community by:
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater New York City area to aid in the fight against hunger.
