Restaurant Celebrates with Cows Eat Free Offer on Opening Day and $25,000 Donation to Address Food Insecurity
PASADENA, Md. (Aug. 28, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Pasadena community at its newest location on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, creating approximately 120 jobs.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Chris Schenck as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Jacobsville. Schenck will also continue to Operate two existing restaurants, Chick-fil-A Severna Park and the campus location at Anne Arundel Community College.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Schenck and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant and in the drive-thru.
Located at 4015 Mountain Rd, Chick-fil-A Jacobsville will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery and catering.

An Annapolis native, Schenck is passionate about giving back to the community he has always called home. In 2013, Schenck was selected to open and operate Chick-fil-A Severna Park, laying the foundation for his leadership in the region. In 2021, he expanded his footprint by launching a second location at Anne Arundel Community College.
With deep community roots and a heart for service, Schenck is excited to expand in Anne Arundel County with his third Chick-fil-A restaurant, continuing his mission to create opportunities and invest in the people around him. Through his restaurant, he has helped support the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy and help local health systems and non-profits raise funds through cookie drives.

Schenck is committed to giving back to the Pasadena community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Baltimore area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date. Schenck’s other restaurant locations currently donate about 100 pounds of food every week.
