Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year

RAYMORE, Mo. (Jan. 3, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A^® restaurant will begin serving the Raymore and Belton communities on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Brock Byrd as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Raymore. 
 
Located at 1918 W. Foxwood Drive, Chick-fil-A Raymore will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the drive-thru remaining open until 10 p.m. The restaurant will also feature Mobile Thru, a fully dedicated lane in the drive-thru where Guests can pick up orders placed ahead of time on the Chick-fil-A^® App. 
 
Chick-fil-A Raymore joins more than 19 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Kansas City market. 
 
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model is essential to how the restaurant serves others. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side by side with their Team Members each day. 
 
At this restaurant, Byrd will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving Guests, cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses, and tailoring philanthropic efforts to meet the community’s needs.  
 
Raised in Dublin, Georgia, Byrd’s first job as a teenager was in a Chick-fil-A restaurant. Inspired to join the company by his brother, who was a Chick-fil-A Team Member, their fondest memories involve both gathering and working at the hometown restaurant with their friends. During this time, he not only learned the fundamentals of hospitality but also built lasting friendships and achieved personal milestones—like learning to tie a tie and earning his first promotion. What started as his first job evolved into a place of passion and purpose. 
 
After high school, Byrd explored other professional opportunities but always felt drawn to return to Chick-fil-A. In 2019, he rejoined the company, starting as a Team Member and progressing through various leadership roles over the next five years. Now, with more than nine years of experience, Byrd has been selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Raymore. Living just four minutes from his restaurant, he and his wife, Allison, along with their son, Noah, look forward to serving the community and creating a welcoming environment where every Guest feels valued. 
 
“I am honored to bring the first Chick-fil-A to this community and look forward to creating a space of restoration, where people can not only enjoy delicious food but also feel genuinely cared for and revitalized,” Byrd said. “I’ve enjoyed many ‘firsts’ at Chick-fil-A, and it’s my sincere hope that everyone who visits my restaurant can recharge and leave with a renewed sense of positivity and connection.” 
 
Caring for the Raymore and Belton Communities
The Chick-fil-A business is built to add positive impact beyond profit, including giving back to local communities. Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators are empowered to support the neighborhoods they serve with a key focus on hunger, education and specific community needs. 
 
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts in honor of the new restaurant. 
 
Byrd’s restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table^® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 30 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from over 2,200 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.  
 
In addition, Chick-fil-A Raymore is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Raymore-Belton area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
