MIAMI (June 2, 2026) – Chick-fil-A® is opening a kitchen within the CloudKitchens network, designed to exclusively fulfill delivery orders across the city. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Thomas Overby to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Wynwood Delivery, marking his second restaurant in the community.
Opening on Thursday, June 2, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., Chick-fil-A Wynwood Delivery will be the company’s first delivery kitchen in Florida and just the sixth restaurant of its kind in the United States. Chick-fil-A delivery kitchens are specially designed kitchens that meet the same high standards as our restaurants and are operated by Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators. These kitchens focus on preparing Guest favorites for delivery, primarily through third-party platforms.
By bringing Chick-fil-A closer to where people live and work, delivery kitchens provide added convenience and faster service—making it easier than ever to enjoy Chick-fil-A.
Located at 1900 NE Miami Court, Chick-fil-A Wynwood Delivery will deliver to Guests Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to midnight, offering third-party delivery.

“We know how important fast and reliable delivery is to Wynwood, and we want to meet the community where they are while keeping our signature hospitality,” said Overby. “Being born and raised in Miami, serving this community is very special to me. Our new delivery kitchen location gives us the opportunity to serve the Wynwood community in a way that works best for them and gives me the privilege to deepen my connection with my hometown.”
Overby’s Chick-fil-A journey began in high school at a restaurant in West Palm Beach, where he developed a passion for servant leadership. A Miami native, he has spent the past five years as a local Owner-Operator focused on developing leaders, building meaningful Guest connections and serving the evolving needs of the community.
Shaped by his South Florida roots and the lessons learned from other Chick-fil-A leaders who guided him, Overby is excited to bring Chick-fil-A‘s delivery kitchen concept to Miami. He and his team look forward to expanding their ability to serve more Guests across the city with broader delivery access and extended service hours. While the location may look different from a traditional Chick-fil-A restaurant, Overby sees it as another way to extend the same genuine care, second-mile service and impact across the community.
Caring for the Miami Community
Overby is committed to giving back to the Miami community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to support local hunger relief efforts, Feeding South Florida, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Creating approximately 30 jobs. Chick-fil-A local Owners-Operators hire and grow top talent through hands-on training and mentoring, competitive pay and benefits, the chance to apply for scholarships to support continued education, and the flexibility to thrive in and outside of work – all within a purpose-driven, flexible environment.
- This year, 190 recipients in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area were awarded the Chick-fil-A® Remarkable Futures Scholarship, totaling $341,000 in scholarships.
