Celebrating our 2023 winners

Since the early 1970s, Chick-fil-A has awarded deserving Team Members across the country with scholarship funds to help them pursue their dreams of a remarkable future. And 2023 is no different. We’re excited to introduce this year’s Remarkable Future Scholarship winners. In addition to receiving $25,000 scholarships, these scholars will join a 12-month leadership development program and will become official Chick-fil-A Scholar Alumnae.

A surprise for Team Members

This year, Chick-fil-A, Inc. awarded 13,000 restaurant Team Members with scholarships to continue their education. Twelve Team Members got an extra special surprise when we showed up at their restaurant to award them $25,000 scholarships. Watch us surprise these 12 True Inspiration Scholars.

Eddie White Servant Leadership Award

The Eddie White Servant Leadership Award for $50,000 ─ the largest in Chick-fil-A history – is a one-time scholarship that was awarded in 2023. The award was named for Chick-fil-A’s first scholarship recipient, Eddie White, and was given in honor of the 50th anniversary of scholarship giving at Chick-fil-A. Team Member Malcolm J. of Wilson, N.C., received this award during a surprise celebration at the restaurant where he works, and Eddie joined to personally meet Malcolm and present him with the honor.

True Inspiration™ Scholarship winners

These twelve deserving Team Members are truly amazing. Through their dedication and hard work in school, in the restaurant and in the community, they were chosen as the winners of the 2023 Remarkable Futures Scholarship. Chick-fil-A Operators, Interim Managers or Executive General Managers recommended each nominee, and Scholarship America and an external committee of educators, entrepreneurs and executives chose the final winners. Congratulations to this year’s scholars!
