Investing in Team Members’ Futures

Since the early 1970s, deserving Chick-fil-A Team Members have been awarded with scholarship funds to help them pursue their dreams of a remarkable future. Sponsored by Chick-fil-A, Inc., more than $27 million in scholarships were awarded in 2025 – the highest annual investment the company has made in the education of Team Members in more than 50 years of scholarship giving.

What makes Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarships different?

Upfront payment

Scholarships are awarded to recipients up front and can be directly applied to tuition costs, without requiring tuition reimbursement.

Applicable at any school, college or university

Scholarships can be applied in any area of study at any accredited institution of the Team Member’s choice, including two- or four-year colleges and universities, online programs, or vocational-technical schools.

No tenure requirements

Team Members need to be employed at a franchised, company-owned and/or affiliated restaurant at the time of application and award, but there is no requirement of hours worked or length of service to qualify. Both full-time and part-time employees in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico are eligible.

$25,000

Award amount: $25,000

To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an employee at a franchised or company-owned restaurant (including Dwarf House Group, LLC (Dwarf House®, Truett’s Chick-fil-A®, Truett’s Luau®, Chick-fil-A® of Edgewater, Truett’s Grill®)) at the time of application. Team Members must be employed at an eligible restaurant at the time of the application and when the award is announced. The specific terms and conditions of any awarded scholarships will be different for Team Members of Chick-fil-A Franchisees, Team Members of Chick-fil-A, Inc. Operated Restaurants, and Team Members of Dwarf House Group, LLC.
  • Be a Team Member at the time award is presented by the Operator, Interim Manager or Executive General Manager, as applicable.
  • Be a postsecondary undergraduate or graduate student or planning to enroll in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the following academic year.
  • Be recommended by an Operator, Interim Manager or Executive General Manager (depending on the Restaurant where the Team Member is employed), addressing the Team Member’s professional achievement. Professional achievement could include testimony of demonstrated leadership, work ethic, teamwork, and other contributions. Although hours worked may allow Team Members to contribute at a higher level, a specific hour requirement should not be used in determining if an application should be submitted.
  • Show how you demonstrated care and service in the twelve (12) months prior to application. You will be asked to share in what ways you were able to make an impact on your community, friends and family over the last 12 months both inside and outside of the Restaurant.
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) for U.S. candidates. (For Canadian and Puerto Rican candidates, transcripts are reviewed separately and scored accordingly.) Academic awards and recognition will be considered. Applicants are required to upload a transcript that displays their name, school name, classes taken, and GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need.
