Restaurant Brings Approximately 150 Jobs to Community, Donates $25,000 to Address Food Insecurity
PROVIDENCE, Utah (June 16, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is ready to serve Providence at its newest location opening on Thursday, June 19, 2025, creating approximately 150 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Cory Goettsche to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A S. Main St. & E. 1200 St., marking his second restaurant in the community.
Located at 40 S Hwy 165, the new restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, and Mobile Thru. Chick-fil-A S. Main St. & E. 1200 St. will also feature a playground to serve Guests with children.

“My first experience with Chick-fil-A was when I tasted a sample of the delicious Original Chicken Sandwich at a shopping mall. After tasting the food and learning about the company, I knew I wanted to become a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator,” said Goettsche. “From applying to work at Chick-fil-A on my 14th birthday, to watching my mother and brothers become Operators and eventually opening my first restaurant, this experience has been life changing. I’m excited to open my second restaurant and continue serving the Providence community.”
- While he grew up in Highlands Ranch, Goettsche has lived in Cache Valley for 12 years with his wife Deanna and their three children, Preslee, Maverick and Jagger.
- His dream of becoming a Chick-fil-A Operator was several decades in the making. He first joined Chick-fil-A as a Team Member in 1997 and went on to serve as a leader in several restaurants throughout Colorado.
- In 2013, he was selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Logan, which he will continue to operate.
- Now opening his second restaurant, Goettsche is excited to bring the signature hospitality that first inspired him to grow with the Company—while creating opportunities for Team Members and investing in the community his family proudly calls home.

Goettsche is committed to giving back to the Providence community by:
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts in the greater Providence area.
- Recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Providence community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
