Restaurant Creates Approximately 150 Jobs, Guests Invited to Dress in Cow Print on Opening Day for Free Entrée
DEWITT, N.Y. (August 5, 2025) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving Guests in DeWitt on Thursday, August 7 at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Megan Sorber to serve as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Bridge Street & Erie Blvd.
Located at 5761 Celi Drive, Chick-fil-A Bridge Street & Erie Blvd. will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m.to 10:00 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out and delivery. The new restaurant brings approximately 150 jobs to the community and joins four other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the Syracuse market.
To celebrate the opening, Guests are welcome to join the fun by dressing in cow print on opening day to receive a free entrée.

“It’s an honor to open Chick-fil-A Bridge Street & Erie Blvd and serve the amazing DeWitt community,” said Sorber. “My vision is to create meaningful, positive experiences for everyone who encounters Chick-fil-A, whether in the restaurant or out in the community.”
- A Rhode Island native, Sorber began her Chick-fil-A journey in 2012 as a Team Member in college and has since built a career spanning over a decade, serving in restaurants across Florida and Connecticut and traveling with the Chick-fil-A® Leadership Development Program.
- She met her husband, Ben, while working at Chick-fil-A and now looks forward to raising their two sons and serving the DeWitt community as local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Bridge Street & Erie Blvd.
- Megan is excited to invest in her Team Members and build lasting partnerships in the area, especially with local schools and youth sports organizations.
Cows Eat Free to Celebrate Chick-fil-A Bridge Street & Erie Blvd.
To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, cows will eat free on opening day! Sorber and her team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for one free entrée.
- Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s DeWitt’s turn to join the herd.
- Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée* in person inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
