AUGUSTA, Ga. (Jan. 13, 2026) – Chick-fil-A® is continuing its commitment to care for the communities it serves with the opening of a new restaurant in Augusta on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is donating $25,000 to Feeding America® to support local hunger relief, benefitting Golden Harvest Food Bank in the Augusta area. In addition, the restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, partnering with Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, to redirect surplus food to neighbors in need. Since 2015, Chick-fil-A restaurants across Augusta have given food to create over 88,000 meals through Shared Table.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Adam Edwards to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A I-20 & Jimmie Dyess Parkway. Located at 4329 Belair Frontage Road, the new restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering, mobile pickup and Mobile Thru. Designed for speed and efficiency, this drive thru-focused location offers added convenience to serve Guests through its drive-thru and a walk-up window for carry-out.

Locally Owned and Operated
“Augusta has been home for my family for the past 10 years, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep serving this community — not only through food and hospitality, but by caring for our neighbors and finding meaningful ways to give back,” said Edwards. “My vision for this new restaurant is simple: to serve, care and grow my Team Members and the community we’re a part of.”

Born and raised in Easley, South Carolina, Edwards’ journey to Chick-fil-A began in college, where he was drawn to the Brand’s welcoming environment and delicious food and the way Team Members cared for Guests. In 2009, he joined Chick-fil-A as a restaurant manager and saw firsthand how serving people with kindness and excellence could make a meaningful impact on their lives. That experience inspired him to pursue ownership, seeing the restaurant as a place to invest in people and serve the community.

After spending the last 10 years serving and growing as a local Owner-Operator, he and his team are committed to continuing to serve delicious food and genuine hospitality to their Augusta neighbors at this new restaurant.

The new restaurant will create approximately 90 jobs. To learn more about careers at Chick-fil-A I-20 & Jimmie Dyess Parkway, click here. For the latest news and updates on Chick-fil-A I-20 & Jimmie Dyess Parkway, visit the restaurant’s Facebook page and follow along on Instagram.
