DENVER (April 9, 2026) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Denver community at its newest location on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 6 a.m. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Jason Sutton to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Runway 35 South, marking Sutton’s second restaurant in the community.
Located at 9111 E 40th Ave., Chick-fil-A Runway 35 South will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to midnight, offering drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery and Mobile Thru. Designed for speed and efficiency, this restaurant will also offer Guests added convenience through a walk-up window for carry-out and outdoor patio seating. Chick-fil-A Runway 35 South will be Colorado’s first drive-thru only Chick-fil-A prototype.

“Some of the most rewarding parts of my journey have been leading such an incredible team and building a restaurant culture rooted in care,” said Sutton. “We’re not just opening another restaurant — we’re expanding our ability to serve a community we care deeply about. I’m honored to open a second location where we can continue to steward our Team Members in leadership and growth.”
After retiring from the U.S. Army, Sutton began exploring opportunities that would allow him to continue leading and serving others, finding a natural fit in Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality. Sutton began volunteering at local Chick-fil-A restaurants to gain hands-on experience and was soon selected to own and operate a restaurant in Northern California before transitioning to
Chick-fil-A Quebec Street in Denver, which he will continue to operate alongside his new restaurant. With a passion for developing young leaders, Sutton looks forward to deepening his impact through the growth and development of his Team Members.
Caring for the Denver Community
Sutton is committed to giving back to the Denver community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Denver area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
- Continuing to support Team Members through the Chick-fil-A Remarkable FuturesTM scholarships program, through which he has awarded more than $150,000 to Team Members over the past 10 years at Chick-fil-A Quebec Street.
- Creating approximately 65 jobs.
