Restaurant Company to Open 12-15 New Restaurants Across the Bay State by End of 2027, Creating Upwards of 1,600 New Jobs

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (April 15, 2025) – Chick-fil-A® has broken ground on its Foxborough, Mass. restaurant, set to open in Patriot Place this fall. This marks the first step in Chick-fil-A’s growing investment in the state of Massachusetts, as the company is set to open up to seven new restaurants across the state this year, followed by five to eight more restaurants by the end of 2027. The new restaurants will be a mix of locally owned and licensed locations and will collectively create an estimated 1,600 jobs for local residents across the state.

Foxborough Groundbreaking
Chick-fil-A Foxborough, located on the south side of Patriot Place, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony earlier today. To mark this milestone and support hunger relief efforts across Massachusetts, Chick-fil-A donated $20,000 each to the Boston Marathon fundraising campaigns of two local nonprofits dedicated to fighting food insecurity: FamilyAid Boston and Spoonfuls

“Breaking ground at Chick-fil-A Foxborough marks an exciting milestone at the iconic Patriot Place that we’re commemorating through meaningful hunger relief initiatives designed to make a difference across the state,” said Elizabeth Meloy, Chick-fil-A Real Estate, Northeast Region. “This is just the start of the next phase of our growth throughout Massachusetts, where we are committed to creating jobs, serving delicious food with care, being a good neighbor and making a positive impact on local communities.”
