A heart for service
Serving and strengthening communities is a shared commitment at Chick-fil-A, and many staff volunteer for community service events organized through the Team Chick-fil-A Employee Volunteerism Program. From serving meals and hosting supply drives to planting trees and mentoring students, community service is a meaningful team-building activity at Chick-fil-A. Staff can also use paid hours away from work, known as Wellness Hours, to volunteer with nonprofits that matter to each individual.

A positive work environment
Throughout our restaurants, Support Center and subsidiaries, more than 200,000 people represent the Chick-fil-A® brand. From wellness programs and community volunteering opportunities at the Support Center, to leadership development and a scholarship program in Chick-fil-A restaurants, we aim to provide a place where people can thrive and belong.
A culture where everyone can thrive
Dating back to our founder, a cornerstone principle at Chick-fil-A is to treat everyone with honor, dignity and respect. We believe we’re better together, and our “Better at Together efforts” represent how we steward these principles and foster inclusive leadership as we care for Operators, Team Members, staff and Guests.

Scholarship opportunities
Scholarships at Chick-fil-A began when founder S. Truett Cathy set an empty mayonnaise jar on his restaurant counter to start a college fund for Team Member Eddie White. Since the early 1970s, Chick-fil-A has invested more than $215 million in scholarships to help over 122,000 Team Members pursue a college education and achieve their remarkable future — whether it’s with Chick-fil-A or elsewhere.
